Raining Inside the Hive -- I failed to remove the corks while feeding sugar syrup. Yikes!

Oh no! It is raining inside the hive. I failed to remove the corks from the control box while feeding sugar syrup. The bees were dehydrating the syrup but I left no where for the water to go. If you are going to use the heater boxes and need to feed syrup in the winter you may want to use a Vivaldi board to provide ventilation or at the very least open up all of the ventilation holes. I made a mistake and fed the bees and closed all of the vent holes. Its raining in the hives. Good news is I have opened the vent holes and the problem was resolved within the hour. Now, the bees are warm and dry. Close call. Ventilation is king with bees in the winter.
