Codependents rationalize significantly in thinking that someone with Borderline Personality (untreated not well enough treated) can love and attach to you. They can't. People with codependency often also don't realize that they too have unhealthy attachment and unhealthy patters of loving and what they abandon themselves to thinking and believing that someone with BPD "loves" them.
