Adventure Now Season 4, Ep.4, Suduroy, Torshavn & the beautiful sea caves Cathedral Caves on Hestur

Hello and welcome to the 4th episode of the 4th season of Adventure Now!

In this episode we leave Suduroy, the most southern island of the Faroese archipelago, and head for the capital city - Torshavn where we enjoy the great company of fellow sailors and the welcoming locals. After perhaps too much indulgence in the social life we head for a detox to the fabulous island of Hestur. We enjoy the Cathedral Caves on the west coast of the island onboard SY Polaris with her owners Kathrin and Daniel, Mike Henderson - arctic explorer and author of a guide book for the northern latitudes and the Enni family on SY Enniway.

In this episode we would like to pay tribute to Rosamund, the former owner of Altor of Down, who slipped her earthly mooring in April. We are very happy to have met her in October 2022 and welcome her back onboard Altor of Down when we visited Bangor in Norther Ireland. She was a fantastic lady, very cheerful, sharp, bright and she knew what it means to adventure now!

Filmed in 2023 using a Panasonic Lumix FZ1000, DJI Mavic Pro, DJI Pocket, a Rhode microphone, a Rhode Wireless Go microphones and edited with iMovie.
