East Central 27, Greenwood 14

The Trojans took down Greenwood with a timely running game and a staunch defense for 27-14 victory and the program's fourth semi-state crown Friday night. The victory puts East Central back in the IHSAA Class 4A championship game for the second time in the last three years. Now the Trojans look to capture the school's second title and first since 1994. Running back Logan Storie ran for three second-half touchdowns and kept the Woodsmen at arm’s length from being a threat. The senior finished the night 164 yards on 13 carries. Junior quarterback Alex Maxwell ran for 113 yards and a score on 20 carries.
