The current ceasefire is expected “to expire tonight” but after Hamas’s claim that an Israeli baby being held hostage died in the airstrikes, Gaza peace talks in Qatar have “gone quiet”, says Richard Spencer, The Times’s correspondent in Tel Aviv.
