How To Use Johnos Easy Vap Pro Oxalic Acid Treatment for Varroa Mites. Treating Varroa mites with OA.

After researching numerous methods for treating my beehive for varroa mites I settled on a solution I have seen in use by both Jim, at Vino Farm and Frederick Dunn. (No secret, they are my virtual mentors for beekeeping). I did not do a sugar shake nor did I do a alcohol wash before deciding to treat. I figured if I saw a significant mite drop I would continue the treatment. That way I wouldn't have to sacrifice any bees to determine if I had a problem. Guess what...? I had a problem. In several of the hives I have a significant mite load. I will be finishing the treatment with two more treatments over the next two weeks.
