Hell Let Loose - R.I.P. U7 - Phase 4

Let me preface myself as a gamer. My first FPS was Doom. Yes the original. It came free with an old IBM Aptiva from 1994. My second FPS was Battlefield 5. Covid happened and my job disappeared, so I decided to give it a go. BF5 was fun until Dice changed some thing, and the cheater situation got outta control. So I moved to HLL.

Other than Doom, I had remained a console gamer, until BF5. So the transition into HLL and using a PS4 controller, took me many hours of calibrating the controller in Steam's Big Picture Mode, to get a playable result. Update 8 happened and HLL would no longer recognize controller input in-game. So I had to go back and map every button to a key on the keyboard and once again dial it all in, in Big Picture Mode. This was a major pain in the ass. But after 10 hours of adjustments, I got the controller to feel 99% the same as it used to.

I mention this, to encourage console gamers, to give HLL a try.
