Fulton County prosecutors reportedly have no plans to extend plea deals to Donald Trump and at least two prominent co-defendants implicated in their alleged involvement in attempting to overturn the 2020 election in Georgia.

According to sources familiar with the matter, the preference is to proceed to trial rather than offer plea bargains.

Notably, the individuals deemed ineligible for plea negotiations include Trump himself, his former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, and Trump’s former attorney Rudy Giuliani.

However, the Fulton County District Attorney, Fani Willis, has initiated or left open the possibility of plea discussions with the remaining co-defendants, The Guardian reported.
