A chicken tikka samosa is a type of fried pastry that is typically filled with a spiced chicken mixture. The pastry is then deep-fried and served hot with a dipping sauce. Chicken tikka samosas are a popular snack food in Pakistan and are often sold by street vendors.

Ingredients:

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes

1 cup plain yogurt

1 tablespoon garam masala

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon ground coriander

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Salt to taste

24 wonton wrappers

1 egg, beaten

Vegetable oil for frying

Directions:

1. In a large bowl, combine the chicken, yogurt, garam masala, cumin, coriander, cayenne pepper, lemon juice, and salt. Mix well and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight.

2. To assemble the samosas, place a wonton wrapper on a work surface and brush the edges with beaten egg. Place 2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture in the center of the wrapper. Fold the wrapper over the filling to form a triangle, and press the edges to seal. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.

3. In a large skillet, heat 1 inch of oil over medium heat. Add the samosas and fry until golden brown on both sides. Serve hot with dipping sauce.
