23LHDVD11-02 Deborah Vails - Defeating the Spirit of the Thief

A thief is one who takes something that is not rightfully theirs. The enemy comes first to steal. (Jn 10:10) Many times it is by stealth or surprise attack. Sometimes the thief comes through people we are familiar with and trust. If you allow the enemy to steal your joy, you lose your strength, for the joy of the Lord is our strength. Sometimes the thief comes as a result of our own choices. Another modality of the thief is to drain us - mentally, emotionally, spiritually and more. Beware of the “drainers” the enemy brings to you. A major drainer is praying for people or situations that are not your assignment. Be careful that you are not trying to be the “Christ” or someone’s Holy Spirit. The enemy comes second to kill. That means to breathe a hard blow by extension, to emulate slaughter. The next step is to take one out. So if he can steal, the next thing will be to kill. Devastation can take one out. It can be the death of a loved one, loss of a job, traumatic experiences or illness, just to name a few. This message will help you.
