Galatians 2:11-21 “Confronting Hypocrisy” 11/26/2023

What we see here is clearly…the hypocrisy of Peter…and not just Peter…Barnabas joins him.
The definition of hypocrisy is simply:
“The failure to practice what you preach.”
This is what Jesus said about the hypocrisy of the Pharisees:
“So, practice and obey whatever they tell you, but don’t follow their example. For they don’t practice what they teach. (Matt. 23:3 NLT).
The way you can tell if someone is a hypocrite is that they appear outwardly righteous to others…
But they are actually full of uncleanness and self-indulgence…as Jesus pointed out:
