Failed Ukrainian counteroffensive to recaptured lost positions

In the video there is a battle at the junction of forest belts, where the Ukrainian Armed Forces tried to regain lost positions. Having pinned down a group of militants with fire, Russian fighters quietly passed (00:15) further along the forest belt ( in the direction north of Staromayorsky ) and captured 2 strong points. At the same time, having encountered resistance, the Ukrainians decided to retreat (00:59) exactly to where Russians fighter was already waiting for them, putting down the retreating fighters in two bursts.

After defeating the enemy and capturing the Ukrainians positions, one of Russian soldiers, under grenade launcher fire, provides assistance (02:15) to a still living dry lander and helps evacuate him. The result: the capture of new advantageous positions and the capture of the surviving Ukrainians.

There are fatal mistakes of Ukrainian observers who missed the approach of our attack aircraft almost closely and, probably, the general unpreparedness of the defenders to conduct combat operations.
