Thailand Pass: Test n Go Open to All Countries (New changes)

Thailand flip flops in a good way this time. Thai pass Test n go open as of February 1st for travelers from all countries. A sudden change in direction after last week officials said earliest resume for Thai pass test n go wouldn't be until mid year.
1) CCSA agreed to adjust the zoning categories for disease control measures, effective from Monday, 24 January 2022.
2) Controlled zones (Orange) will be reduced from 69 to 44 provinces.
3) High Surveillance areas (Yellow) will rise up to 25 provinces.
4) The number of Pilot tourism areas/Sandbox Areas is still the same at 8 provinces.
5) In the Controlled zones (Orange), restaurants and eateries can still resume normal opening hours but the consumption of alcoholic beverages remains banned.
6) In High Surveillance areas (Yellow), the measures that restaurants must follow are more relaxed as dining and drinking alcoholic beverages in the stores are allowed.
7) All areas will have to continue adhering to covid free settings and universal prevention.
8) From 1 February 2022, WFH will become non- compulsory and will be implemented as deemed appropriate by each agency or employer.
9) CCSA approved time extension of alcoholic sales at restaurants in the Yellow areas from 21.00 to 23.00.
10) Restaurants must meet SHA+ or Thai Stop Covid 2 Plus standards to be allowed to serve alcoholic drinks.
11) CCSA agreed to reduce the recommended self-quarantine period for high risk persons from 14 to 7 days, followed by 3 days of self-monitoring.
12) ATK tests must be taken on Day 5-6 and Day 10.
13) Registration for Test and Go will resume tentatively on 1 February 2022.
14) Travelers from all countries/areas (not just the 63 previously designated) will be eligible to apply for this scheme.
15) Two RT-PCR tests will be required: one on the first day of arrival and the second on Day 5 of arrival.
16) The following paperworks should be prepared:
- proof of hotel booking for Day 1 and Day 5 (The hotels can be different hotels but must provide an accommodation service in partnership with certified hospitals for the -RT-PCR test according to SHAplus,SHAplus+,AQ or ALSQ.
- An accomodation confirmed Payment and pre-payment of 2 RT-PCR tests
17) From 1 February, the sandbox areas will be expanded to include Trat province (Koh Chang) and Chonburi province.
18) Travelers who wish to visit these areas through the sandbox scheme will be able to register to the TP.
19) Travelers will be also able to travel to the original sandbox areas, including Phuket, Krabi, Pang Nga, Surat Thani (Koh Samui, Koh Pa Ngan, Koh Tao)
