John Joseph Fury’s story began in the travelling camps of rural Ireland, where he entered this world in a gypsy wagon in Tuam, Galway on May 22, 1964. He was born into a family with generations of bare-knuckle boxing running through their blood. However, when John was just 4 years young, he left behind the lush green fields of the motherland for the concrete jungle of Manchester, England. With a relentless fighting spirit rooted in his Irish Traveller heritage, John Fury carved his own path from the gypsy camps of Ireland to the boxing circuit of Britain, bringing the same determination that made him a bare-knuckle brawler to raising the Furies!
