Sweet potato chowder is the perfect meal for a chilly day!

It will fill your belly with warm, yummy goodness and is a healthy food! Get the recipe below:

Sweet Potato Chowder
1 T unsalted butter
1 onion diced
3 c diced sweet potatoes
2 chopped carrots
2 c chopped kale or spinach
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 t salt
1/2 t pepper
4 fresh sage leaves, chopped or 1/4 t ground sage
5 c chicken bone broth
1/3 c cream
4 strips of bacon, cooked and chopped

1. Add butter to large pot. Melt over medium heat.
2. Add onion and sauté until cooked.
3. Add and combine sweet potatoes, carrots, kale (or spinach), garlic, seasonings, broth, and cream.
4. Bring to a boil and then reduce to medium heat for about 45 minutes, until everything is cooked through.
5. Serve topped with bacon.
6. Enjoy!
