The Biden administration is unsure where or when remaining American hostages will be freed from Hamas.

Car thefts have risen 93% in 2023 in DC as the district struggles to beat back a crippling crime wave. Carjackings, which are a violent crime, have doubled since last year. The police department said at least 77% of the carjackings involved a gun and Two-thirds of the arrests involved minors.
