Last week we shared a story about why the small cats are a ferocious reminder of the need for their fight for their freedom, their protection, their future.
This week, we’d like to tell you about Bailey bobcat...
Bailey's journey began with a tragic loss - her mother, perhaps a native Florida Bobcat, met an untimely demise in Odessa. Left alone and vulnerable, Bailey, barely 5 or 6 weeks old, roamed in search of the mother who would never return. A local woman, an angel in disguise, rescued Bailey from the clutches of danger, just as a hawk was closing in. Mistaken for a feral cat, the animal shelter was contacted, and it was there that Big Cat Rescue entered the picture.
