Home Values Rebound In Detroit And Across The US - Housing Bubble 2.0 - US Housing Crash

Today is the last Tuesday of the Month and that means the Case-Shiller US Home Price Index is published for the month of September 2023. FYI - due to the nature of the analysis and calculation, this statistic is 2 months in arrears from today. The Index gave us a modest Year Over Year increase in Home Values, with 17 out of the 20 Metros in the 20 City Index showing positive value increases. The Housing Market is seeing continual increases in value, however overall Home Sales are down to historic levels. Additionally, the distressed properties that are sitting idle in the Shadow Inventory have not been been able to make any impact to the pricing or overall values as of yet. That volume is still bubbling under the surface and represents a vast opportunity for everyone to acquire below market pricing.
