Festival Fun - Loi Krathong in Rural Northern Thailand

Out and about on Loi Krathong day in 2023 to see what the locals are up to. I expected to see people making krathong and putting up lights and decorations. But I discovered something much more interesting.

Near the river there was a group of guys making fireworks. The were well set up with the tools and ingredients they needed. They packed the gunpowder mix into large sections of bamboo. You'll have to watch the next video to see the night time action when they lit the fuses.
