Michael Fish's NBC26 weather forecast

There will be a break in the active weather pattern today with partly cloudy skies at times. Highs will be in the upper-30s with the winds slowly dying down as the day goes on. Tonight, the next low pressure system will be on the way. There will be a chance of a light, wintry mix late (especially NW) with lows in the upper-20s and rising overnight. That low pressure will be getting very close to the area on Friday, and some spots may start off with a wintry mix, but with a little milder air working in, it should mainly be just rain as Friday wears on. Highs will top out in the low-40s. More rain will be pushing through on Friday night with lows staying above freezing in the mid-30s. On the backside of the low pressure it's going to be windy on Saturday. We'll probably see some scattered rain and/or changing to a few snow showers, but they diminish in coverage as the afternoon wears on. Highs will start off in the low-40s, but temperatures will be dropping as the day goes on. Sunday will be colder and breezy. At least it will be dry with partly cloudy skies. Highs will probably not make it to freezing with readings in the low-30s.
