YouTube allowing illegal content....

As we all know, it's against the law to hack into cable TV services, teach others how to steal PPV content, 10m ham radio conversions to 11m (CB frequencies).
But YouTube gets away with allowing that content to be spread across their website (platform) with no punishment whatsoever, while other sites that have done the same identical things have been shut down and the site owners punished to the maximum extent of the law.
Why is YouTube allowed to spread illegal content, but not others? Is YouTube above the law? You decide...
