Taika Waititi ONLY Directed Thor for the Money | Still Directing STAR WARS

Taika Waititi made a name for himself directing Disney and Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok for the MCU. Following the success, he was also hired to direct Thor: Love and Thunder.

Since the reaction to the second movie wasn’t too great, and his personal projects aren’t getting much traction, Taika Waititi is now lashing out. He came out to say he never liked Thor anyway and only directed Thor: Ragnarok and Thor: Love and Thunder for the paychecks. This does not instill much confidence in the director since Disney and Lucas Film is still having him direct a Star Wars movie even though he doesn’t care about large studio projects.
