The article, “Sacred Abortion” by Hazel Lewis, appeared in The Beltane Papers: A Journal of Women’s Mysteries in Issue 18: 1999. The writer was relaying her journey in making a decision about abortion. She was conflicted but reincarnation provided the answer. She made contact with the child growing in the womb through guided meditation. She discovered it was her deceased mother that had come to visit for a while but didn’t want to fully incarnate (i.e., reincarnate).
