Teachers up for raises, more bonuses under new union contract at Indianapolis Public Schools

Indianapolis Public Schools teachers are in line for a raise and multiple bonus opportunities under a new union contract. The agreement between the district and the Indianapolis Education Association gives eligible teachers a 2 percent raise. Eligible teachers are those covered by the agreement who received an “effective” or “highly effective” rating on their last evaluation and have been with the district for 120 days.
