Walking Through My Home For One Last Time
It was bittersweet moment. It was a dream to purchase my first home. The process was anything but easy - but when I got those keys - it was the first tangible achievement of my adult life.
A few months back I decided to put my house on the market. I felt that it was a good time - the market in Florida was still high. After the sale I was able to pay off my revolving accounts and put some money toward my next home.
My plan is to go explore Kentucky and Tennessee. While interest rates are still on the higher side, prices are starting to come down. My hope is to find a reasonably priced home, in a quiet neighborhood, within an hour of the city.
If I can't find the right fit I will rent an apartment for a year and wait for things to calm down.
I have never been to Tennessee and only to Kentucky once (Lexington). Both states look beautiful and have a lot of potential.
I look forward to what ever is next! Florida has been good to me but it is time for a change.
