How the CoronaPanic captured the Minds of the Dissident Left

One of the most frustrating and bewildering aspects of 2020 was bearing witness to how the entire cabal of the dissident left, the previously formidable characters who proved to be immune to both Trump Derangement Syndrome and its kissing cousin RussiaGate, fell prey to the CoronaPanic on a scale that the few, remaining critical thinkers and Wildlings could hardly comprehend.

Though many of them seem to have gotten permanently lost in the fog of mass psychosis, thankfully a few managed to eventually find their way home, but at the nadir of the whole thing, we had Jimmy Dore reciting People Magazine articles (in all sincerity) on how terrible the CoronaVirus was, Aaron Mate uncritically retweeting CNN propaganda on the efficacy of the experimental injections, legendary human rights activist Noam Chomsky calling for a radical Zionist-level apartheid (and near-starvation) of the "unvaccinated" and Caitlin "Trigger Happy" Johnstone insulting and blocking anyone on Twitter who graciously tried to offer her an intellectual lifeline.

So how did it all happen?

What went wrong?

Why did their good senses abandon them on this issue after proving to be so impervious to some of the previous propaganda assaults on the population?
