Free Classic Beef and Cheese Lasagna Recipe 🍝🧀
Introduction:
Indulge in the timeless comfort of our Classic Beef and Cheese Lasagna—an Italian favorite with layers of savory goodness and ooey-gooey cheese perfection! 🍝🧀
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
2 cans (6 oz each) tomato paste
2 cans (6 oz each) tomato sauce
1/2 cup water
2 teaspoons sugar
2 teaspoons dried basil leaves
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
12 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
3 cups ricotta cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions:
Brown the Beef:
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add chopped onions and minced garlic, cooking until onions are translucent.
Tomato Symphony:
Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, tomato sauce, and water. Season with sugar, dried basil, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 15-20 minutes, allowing flavors to meld.
Noodle Nirvana:
Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Cheesy Layers:
In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses. Mix until well blended.
Assemble the Masterpiece:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). In a 9x13-inch baking dish, layer as follows: a scoop of meat sauce, lasagna noodles, and a generous spread of the cheese mixture. Repeat until ingredients are used, finishing with a cheese layer on top.
Bake to Perfection:
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Rest and Serve:
Allow the lasagna to rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh basil leaves for a burst of flavor.
