Welcome to my channel! My name is Christine Springer.

What do you want to do about your house? The circumstances are different now and so are the incentives. For example, if you can't make your mortgage payment, you can probably more easily sell your home than you could in 2010.

Things are different now, thankfully. The foreclosure crisis in the Great Recession is probably a big reason there is more benevolence for homeowners. The pandemic is another reason servicers are more helpful. (You all know I don't have faith in servicers after watching what they did in the Great Recession!) The case law is better developed and lawyers are more experienced this time around.

I think it will be easier for people to keep their homes. Don't despair if you are not sure how you will manage. The people who really wanted to keep their homes found a way.

I've worked with hundreds of homeowners on property analytics and helped them navigate the default and foreclosure process. In addition to the property analytics, homeowners have benefited from being coached through the emotional aspects of the process. It makes the action steps in the real world much easier.

I developed a method of reviewing loan and foreclosure documents and this service is called property analytics, sometimes called a loan audit.
