What Are These Awesome Japanese Import Games and Controller?!

I absolutely love importing games and accessories for the Nintendo Famicom. One of the reasons is that games are so much less expensive for the Famicom compared to the NES a lot of times. For that reason, I have imported games such as Duck Tales 2, Mighty Final Fight, and now I just got one of my most desired titles. Let's take a look at What These Awesome Japanese Import Games and Controller are!

I generally try not to order from eBay, however, I did find this title on eBay at a terrific price. What is it? It is one of the most in-demand games for the NES which normally sells for over $300 loose, but the Famicom version was available shipped for under $80. I'm talking about Bucky O'Hare.

A Bucky O'Hare game was released for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1992, which required Bucky to rescue each of his crew members on a series of planets. As each character was rescued, the player gained the ability to switch between them and Bucky on the fly to deal with different problems. Immediately after regaining his entire crew, they are once again captured and imprisoned on the Toad mother ship. Bucky and Blinky, sharing the same cell, break out and must rescue the remaining members. Afterwards, they continue through the monstrous ship.

The other thing I received was a gift from our good friend Thor. He knew I had recently picked up the Ascii Stick Turbo Jr, basically an NES Advantage for the Famicom. Well, he had seen the Joystick-7 Mark II for the Famicom and thought it would be great for me to have in my collection. The Original was released by Hori in July 1985, and an upgraded model, the Joystick-7 Mark II, was released in March 1986. The Joystick Mk-II features a turbo function with a speed rate of up to 26.8 inputs per second!
