Season 3: 1943 American Copper Overlay Scans

A great suggestion was sent to me to try laying a 1943 coin over my coin on the computer to test how the dates line up. I just happen to have a 1943 steel coin in my collection. To add to the mix lets throw in a 1948 copper as well. Some people have asked why I am bothering to verify this. Well the insurance costs to send in what could be a very rare coin are almost prohibitive. I am hearing that even if I insure and send the coin in it may not be graded. I feel that this case would need extra attention above and beyond what normal grading would be and to insure and send the coin in and have it returned ungraded would yield no answers and cost me a fortune. So any investigative work I can do to yield some answers on my own first makes all the Cents in the world. ;)
