Kpop boyband BTS members RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook will be serving their Korean military term, after their eldest member Jin started his military term last year.

Korean military is a mandatory military service for all able-bodied men after they graduate high school to serve in the Korean army, while women can go right to university. This started after the issue of WW2 when Imperial Japan attacked eastern Asia, and North Korea attacked in 1950 in the Korean War. Russia, China, and Japan might do something out of the blue, so the Korean military is being careful.
Military terms used to be for 4 years average, but it is now shortened to at least 1 year.

The label that manages BTS, BIGHIT Music, sent out a letter that RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook have started their military enlistment process.
SUGA is the 1st member who is serving the military term after Jin and J-Hope.
The members will do the standard training of how to use a gun, grenade throwing, and other essential training that is used for the Korean military if they decide to join the military.
To avoid any crazy BTS Army, the members will be kept safe and be led by security to the military base they will get training from.
Jungkook and other members have been given an army cut before entering.
