Crews remove illegally dumped deer near 18th & Vine
7 years ago
Crews removed an illegally dumped deer near 18th and Vine, at a location that appears to be a common dumping area for garbage. They identified the Independence man who dumped it there using a game camera they installed to deter this kind of activity, and will issue him several tickets. He had been ordered to pick it up himself, but drove away from the site when he saw 41 Action News cameras on the scene. Agents said if you have a deer you don’t want, don’t dump it – donate it.
