500mm Reflex Mirror Lens - Do We Really Need a Spotting Scope?

I have been thinking about this spotting scope idea. All of the Pro's and Con's. I think I already own a solution that is probably pretty much on par with the spotting scope and more convenient than trying to line up a phone and scope and keep two systems in focus at the same time. Let me know what you guys think of this setup below.
