In this top 10 list of scary videos, I've only analyzed the entries that are, for the most part, completely unexplained — and quite frankly, true horror lies just where the events defy any logical explanation and you can't put a finger on what's going on, or what could be the cause.
The creepy videos in this list are more than enough to not just keep you occupied for a few hours before bed... but actually to freak you out enough to keep you up for a few days after watching them. In fact, these are the scary videos that mama'd my mia, and I couldn't stay sane for weeks after.

The horror side of the internet is packed with creepy videos that garner more than a just few million views year after year. That said, most of the scary videos you'll come across are merely cheap jump scare attempts. That's no scarier than someone tricking you with an unexpected boo at you as you walk past them around a corner. Quite frankly, it's meaningless.

At one point while writing this, I opened the media player on my computer, not realizing this list was already loaded and would automatically begin playing. All at once and all of a sudden, the deeply unsettling creeps and chills of the scary videos in this list went through my mind again, which almost made me fall off my chair. What I'm trying to say is that these creepy videos don't fail to scare you stiff. Try it out for yourself, and feel the chills running up and down your spine at will.

It gives me a little bit of relief though, that I'm not the only one to be shaking in my shoes after watching these scary videos. I'm pretty sure it'll happen to you as well, as you go through the entries of this top 10 list of creepy videos. Originally, I was going to name this video “Whatever you do. Do NOT click on this,” but I soon realized what I would have done if I'd seen a title like that. Being a horror fanatic who loves the adrenaline rush caused by the sheer thrill and over whelmingness of the unexplained fright, I'd have jumped straight into this video without being prepared. And I'm guessing you all would have too.

To not have you wishing that you could go back in time and be free of this nightmarish curse that these scary videos will haunt your sanity and sleep with, I thought writing an elaborate description as a heads up would be fair, and the right thing to do. The entries in this list of scary videos are legitimately terrifying — particularly if you're not a big fan of the chills and the fear of the unknown.

Having a nightmare can be fun, especially when you wake up and realize that all of it was simply a dream. For a while, your pillow may seem extraordinarily soft, and you may feel a little warmer and safer under the covers. But what if that nightmare continues even when you get up?
