Rio Hondo Prep won its 15th CIF-SS Championship in school history with a 29-27 instant classic on Friday night over Santa Monica High School. It came down to the final play and was witnessed by thousands of RHP faithful both in person and watching the online broadcast. We could not be prouder of the young men who have grown before our very eyes and represented countless generations with poise, class, and grit. Today's guest list includes four previous CIF Champions who react to the historic win. Dave Ramos (1996), John Lee (1990), Zach Stiver (2011/2012), and Vice Principal Edwin Ixta (2005) all stop by to give their perspective on a game that will live in Kare lore for the rest of time. Head Coach Mark Carson also makes his weekly appearance and is now the 4th different man to lead Rio Hondo to a Title.
