November 25th, 2023 VAYETZE-Shabbat (A Ladder over you)

In this portion, we talk about the encounter Jacob had on Mount Mariah. This is the same place Abraham nearly offered up Isaac in what we call the AKEDAH (binding) of Isaac. It is here that Jacob dreamed of the ladder to heaven with angels ascending and descending on it. It was a spiral ladder. As you mature in God's calendar, ways, times, and season, you ascend through the cycles of this ladder. Essentially, every believer in Messiah Y'shua (Jesus) has this ladder over them. However, if you don't access it, you are choosing to stay down on Earth. Messiah made a way for us to be with Him where he is. It is in the scriptures in multiple places.
