Israel to shut down one of their OWN NEWSPAPERS for speaking truth?

Israel is attempting to impose severe sanctions on the state's oldest paper Haaretz for exposing the truth in Gaza.
Right, so I covered a story the other day where 8 BBC journalists laid into their own bosses over their pro-Israel stance, taking their story to Al-Jazeera to do so, in order to ensure it was reported properly and not spun into something else as our own media outlets would do, but equally this has been reflected somewhat in Israel too, with their newspaper Haaretz having been calling out Israeli atrocity, calling out the lies and exposing the truth, journalists there more able to speak out freely than our own BBC is it would appear, but appearances can be deceptive, as the Netanyahu regime is so unhappy that all of his lies are getting undone by a paper and he’s invoking patriotism as the reason why. Haaretz is being unpatriotic by calling out, but given that Haaretz is actually older than the state of Israel itself, can that even be an accusation that holds water, but besides which governments should be held to account by their media. The fact this shut down of Israel’s longest running newspaper appears to have legs to it, shows Netanyahu and his regime have plenty to hide and Haaretz exposing it is making them decidedly uncomfortable.
Right so, Haaretz, I’ve used this newspaper as a source material in several recent videos on the ongoing atrocity, because it is credible, it does not bulls**t like our media does and just as Al-Jazeera do a stirling job of exposing what is going on between Israel and Gaza from outside the involved territories, Haaretz does so from within, but that might be coming with a cost from their own government who don’t like being held to account.
Now the Israeli government is the most hard right regime we’ve possibly ever seen in Israel, Netanyahu having done deals with far right extremist parties to cobble together a coalition to stay in power. He’s facing both his final, permanent ousting from power as more and more Israeli’s stand against him, not to mention the news and Israeli action being exposed day after day, week after week, and the propaganda alongside them get’s shredded and Haaretz has played no small part in that. They are a lefty Liberal publication, so well to the left of Netanyahu, and have been in existence since 1918, longer than Israel has, but certainly making it the longest running Israeli publication in existence and has the third largest newspaper circulation in Israel, behind the pro Netanyahu free paper Israel Hayom and the tabloid Yedioth Ahronoth, which is considered anti Netanyahu, but only because it favours another right-winger Tzipi Livni, who was previously wanted for international arrest in connection with war crimes, which infamously the Tory government of David Cameron bent the rules over to permit her to visit the UK in 2011 and they leant on the then Director of Public Prosecutions to not issue an arrest warrant, which he went along with, following the Tories has become a career move there, because it was of course at that time a certain Keir Starmer.
