Suffering produces character. Actually, How you respond to suffering shows your character. Thankfully, your character can change and grow through suffering, but only IF….only IF you are relying upon the LORD Jesus Christ to bring you through the suffering. Jesus Christ is the ONE that will help you and protect you, and He will do it in the fashion that will be the best for you. It will not be in your timing and in the manner you are expecting, but it will be best for you in the long run and will bring God the glory in the end.
