Michael Fish's NBC26 weather forecast

Today, our next low pressure system will be slowly approaching the area.  Our atmosphere will saturate just enough to give us spotty drizzle or light showers. It won't rain all day though with highs in the upper-30s to lower-40s. That low pressure will be passing through tonight bringing some areas of rain as temperatures will be warm enough to keep this precipitation in the liquid form. Overnight lows will be in the upper-30s to lower-40s and actually rise a little through the night. The winds will be picking up as well. Wednesday should be windy and relatively mild with morning shower ending, then some clearing. Enjoy the high temps that should be in the upper 40s in the morning, because they look to fall as we head through the afternoon. Wednesday night will be windy, but dry with overnight lows around 30. There will be a break in the action on Thursday during the day with mostly sunny skies and highs barely touching 40. A stronger system approaches the area late in the week, but it's too early to tell where the rain/snow line is going to end up. Either way, plan on some precipitation moving through on Friday with blustery and cold conditions over the upcoming weekend.
