Body pulled from the water at Goodland marina

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. -- Police are investigating a body that was found floating in the water at a Southwest Florida marina on Saturday. According to Marco Island Police, around 6:40 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to Calusa Island Marina on Angler Drive in Goodland. They arrived to find a person, identified as 63-year-old Kevin M. Peterson, unresponsive and floating near a dock and sailboat. The medical examiner is working to determine a cause and time of death. Peterson has residences in both Marco Island and Michigan. The Marco Island Police Department is not seeking any suspects in this case.
