Oscar De La Hoya last fought in 2008 when defeated by Manny Pacquiao, but he believes he could destroy Conor McGregor if given the chance. He said he has been secretly training and preparing for the last five months. “I’m faster than ever and stronger than ever. I know I can take out Conor McGregor in two rounds. I’ll come back for that fight. Two rounds. Just one more. I’m calling him out. Two rounds, that’s all I need.”, Oscar is determined. But does he really stand a chance?

The 44-year-old ex-boxer is now saying that he would like to join Conor McGregor in another novelty boxing mega match and promises that he could beat the UFC champion with ease. Boxing champion Oscar De La Hoya thinks he could be the next boxer to take out MMA Champion Conor McGregor. However, the old legend hasn’t fought in a professional match in nearly a decade.

Speaking on a digital radio show, “Golden Boy Radio with Tattoo and the Crew,” De La Hoya said he’s been “secretly training” and is “faster than ever and stronger than ever.” He added, “You know I’m competitive. I still have it in me.” He doesn’t underestimate his opponent, but he feels that he can get the job done, and his only terms are that it must be in the boxing ring and not in the UFC octagon.
