Building A Backyard RC Track With Multiple Layout Options

The weather is beautiful for continuing work on the CCxRC backyard track. The summer here in VA is extremely hot to be moving wheelbarrows of dirt and we have yellow flies that swarm, bite, and drive you all kinds of crazy. I was busy in the fall, but now I"ve got free time and have (mostly) cleared the leaves and debris from the track. I've got repairs to do to some of the original elements of the track, but that will be done after I plan out the rest.

There was a time I thought I'd get into racing, but it hasn't happened yet...in fact, I haven't raced once. It's all good though, I get enough enjoyment catching air and bashing wherever I can. The lack of racing has changed my goals for the backyard track and I am now looking at ways to open it up to have more freestyle options. I'm in the process of laying that out now and will be back with updates along the way...after we get a break from the rain planned for this week.
