[BA32] British Airways Club World Hong Kong to London Heathrow on Airbus A380-800
Welcome to another One World Flyer journey. On the 11th July, I flew British Airways service BA32 from Hong Kong (HKG) to London Heathrow (LHR). An Airbus A380 operated it. I was a bit disappointed by their narrow business class and the fact that you would be fully exposed if you seated in the aisle, but it was still acceptable. British Airways flies two flights daily from Hong Kong to London with their A380 and B777-300ER. One will depart within an hour after one has departed. BA is currently thinking of two A380s daily as the demand is quite high. Cathay Pacific flies five times daily to London Heathrow with their B777-300ER, four times weekly to Manchester with their B777-300ER and in September, they will begin their A350 long-haul service to London Gatwick, and it will be four times weekly as well. Virgin Atlantic at the mean time flies daily to London Heathrow with their B787-9. That is eight daily flights to Heathrow. In 2014, Virgin Atlantic used to fly their bigger A340-600 to Hong Kong and onwards to Sydney. Air New Zealand used to fly from Auckland to Hong Kong, then to Heathrow. Qantas used to fly from Melbourne to Hong Kong, then to Heathrow.
