Testing RC4WD Warn Winch On Axial SCX10 Jeep C/R Edition

In an attempt to make my Axial SCX10 Jeep Rubicon C/R Edition feel more like a scale vehicle, I've added a driver, dog, Pro-Line roof rack and RC4WD Warn Winch. This was my first drive with the add-ons. Having the winch allowed me to get out of tough situations I couldn't quite tackle before. Had a blast using it!

I rigged the winch because the stock bumper on the Axial Jeep Rubicon C/R Edition doesn't really accommodate it. I have drilled two holes in the top of the bumper and used the supplied hex screws to go through the metal plate of the winch into the bumper. Seems to work ok. I should note that I broke the spring loaded clasp on the hook during the first use. Now it is just a metal hook.

To get it working, I switched out the kit receiver and transmitter with a Spectrum receiver for my DX4R Pro transmitter. After dialing it in, I got it working.

The new driver (wrestling figure) and dog (picked up at TSC) were super glued into place and held really well. The pro-line roof rack needs some scale accessories to haul, but it took a few rolls and still looks great.
