WELCOME to my tenth flight in 2017! On 30th April, I flew Qantas from Hong Kong (HKG) to Sydney (SYD). The operating aircraft was a Boeing 747-400ER.

Qantas and Cathay Pacific are the only airlines flying between Sydney and Hong Kong. Cathay Pacific flies four times a day (3x B777-300ER and 1x A330-300) and Qantas flies two days a day (1x A330-300 and 1x B747-400). As the demand on this route is high, Virgin Australia will begin its daily service with A330-200. Qantas occasionally use A330-200 and A380 on this route.
