My Thoughts After First Periscope Live Broadcast Trail Run

I thought I'd share my thoughts today after my first ever experience with live broadcasting from the RC trail via Twtter's Periscope app. I admit, I was very skeptical about the benefits of using Periscope, but I had so much fun doing it that I decided to let you know why.

I had zero, zilch, nada, followers on Periscope when I went live today. I did try to let people know via Google+, Instagram, Twitter and here on YouTube, but I didn't think anyone would show up. Seconds into the feed, people started joining, leaving comments and asking questions. I took off and had a blast with this new form of communication.

I plan to use it again and to find innovative new ways to use it to let people in behind the scenes and help call the shots.

Please take a moment to follow me on Periscope and I'll be looking to connect with you as well.
