WELCOME to my 19th flight in 2017. On 29th September, I flew Qantas (QF) from Sydney (SYD) to Hong Kong (HKG). The operating aircraft was an Airbus A330-200. I arrived at the airport from Adelaide by QF740, the flight review for QF740 is available:

I was very lucky to have a spare seat next to me since the flight was quite full, Qantas often reserve a spare seat next to their frequent flyers.

Qantas and Cathay Pacific are the only airlines flying between Sydney and Hong Kong. Cathay Pacific flies four times a day (3x B777-300ER and 1x A330-300) and Qantas flies two days a day (1x A330-300 and 1x B747-400). As the demand on this route is high, Virgin Australia is planning to begin a daily service with their A330-200. Qantas occasionally use A330-200 and A380 on this route.
