First Ever RC Bash In 360° Virtual Reality

**REQUIRES Google Chrome Browser on computer or YouTube App on mobile.**

The future is here and the time is now friends. Welcome to your first virtual reality 360 degree RC backyard bash video. Filmed with 6 GoPro cameras in a 360 Hero's mount, this video will allow you to move your mobile device around to follow the car. This could be really cool if implemented in races - allowing each driver to track their car instead of only seeing the leaders.

I set the camera up in two different spots to show a perspective that goes around 360 degrees and one where all the action takes place in front of the viewer - only requiring left to right movement. I didn't get a perfect stitch, but it was a practice run through on the filming & editing process for work. 360 VR is still in its infancy and is taxing on computers to handle all of the data. I got it workable and exported it to see how it looked. It isn't my personal setup, but I just got it for my video work at Operation Blessing International and needed some movement to test stitch points between cameras...and what better fun to film than RC? I've pre-ordered a different 360VR setup for my personal use that I will use in future videos. The quality won't be as good as this can achieve, but it will be sufficient and hopefully easier to work with.

This isn't practical for all uses, but has some fun possibilities in the RC realm. Enjoy and let me know what you think. It takes some getting used to. The best experience is with Google Cardboard.
