DIY Monster Jam Toy Track & Jumps For Hot Wheels Trucks

Hey parents, help your children get the most out of their Hot Wheels Monster Jam trucks by building them their own toy track with jumps. If you and your children are like me and mine, then you've gotten creative and used books and other objects to make jumps in a pinch. I love the creativity in that, but also found myself wanting to do something more.

The process is easy, but does require a few steps. It should be faster for you since we learned the hard way for you on a few ideas.

You can get all the supplies you need at your local Walmart. Just grab some air-dry clay, paint supplies, foam core and Monster Trucks while you are there. I was in a hurry the first trip and didn't see clay in the craft section, but when I searched online later it said my store did carry A-r-dry clay. It was in the same aisle as the foam core boards with the school/office supplies (our Walmart needs to rethink their separation of school and office supplies from crafts since they share some things like markers and paints...but I digress).

Because I didn't find the clay, i tried Plaster of Paris and made a huge mess. I should've read the directions, but i thought it was going to mix like cement where you mix the consistency you want. I was wrong.
