Traxxas TRX-4 First Time On The DRCW Trail Course

Took the Traxxas TRX-4 out for its first run on my lunch break. I had to run up to Debbie's RC World anyway, so I took the truck on the trail course they have out back. The course definitely needs some attention, so I'll have to head up there with my weed whip and try to reclaim the land. The TRX-4 did pretty well on the course, but couldn't handle some of the inclines that I was able to handle with both of my SCX10 vehicles. While it boast high ground clearance, it also has a high center of gravity and the battery weight is toward the rear. I found myself tipping to the sides and backwards more than I would with my Axial trucks. I'm sure there will be a lot of work arounds coming in the future that will help address this. The body has a lot of detail and help stiffening it up, but it is also heavier because of it. Over all, it feels capable, but will probably do better on natural trails than it did on this particular course. I'll be taking it out to the IPSWICH trails soon to test it there.
